NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has refused to hear Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s bail plea in connection with the alleged liquor scam case. The court has asked him to approach the High Court for relief.

Sisodia’s lawyer had opposed taking him on CBI remand and said that he had cooperated with the agency during interrogation. Sisodia had approached the Supreme Court a day after being sent to CBI’s five-day remand.
The court gave him time to be heard at 3:50 pm. Sisodia has been accused of irregularities in the implementation of the liquor policy and was arrested after a long interrogation by the CBI.
