GAYA: As many as four miscreants have been arrested in Bihar’s Patna-Gaya highway area after they allegedly opened fire at the cops on Friday.
As per the information, the miscreants opened fire on the police near Chanaki Mor located on the Patna-Gaya State Highway. The sub-inspector of Dhanrua narrowly escaped in the firing of miscreants. The police team arrested four miscreants. However, one of the criminals managed to escape.
According to the information, when the Dhanrua police reached near Chanaki Mor on Patna-Gaya State Highway-1 on Wednesday evening to nab the miscreants who were plotting the crime, the miscreants hid in the Rasalpur garden after seeing themselves surrounded by the police and started firing. The miscreants fired three rounds.
Four miscreants are allegedly involved in multiple crimes. The police asked the miscreants to surrender, otherwise they threatened to shoot. Due to this, they came out in fear and the four miscreants were arrested by the police. However one managed to escape.
A pistol and five live cartridges besides a shell have been recovered from the miscreants. The miscreants identified as Rahul Kumar Tiwari, two other miscreants are residents of Imalia of Kadirganj, near Vishwanath temple located on Hospital Road in Masaudhi Nagar. Dhanrua police is interrogating the four arrested miscreants. ASP Vaibhav Sharma and SHO Dinanath Singh refused to divulge anything in this regard for the time being. The family says that the age of the four arrested accused is around 17 to 20 years. They started running away in fear of the police. He had no conspiracy to commit a crime.
