Patna: In a harrowing incident on Sunday night, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Satish Chandra Dubey and four others sustained serious injuries when their car collided with a container truck on the Mahatma Gandhi Setu bridge in Patna, Bihar.
According to the report, all have been admitted to a private hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The collision, which occurred when MP Dubey’s car reached Gaighat on the bridge, resulted in extensive damage to the vehicle and brought traffic on the bridge to a standstill.
The severity of the accident left Dubey, his bodyguard, and the driver of the vehicle in critical condition. Both the driver and the bodyguard suffered severe head injuries, requiring immediate medical attention. MP Satish Chandra Dubey himself sustained injuries in the accident.
According to the information received, MP Satish Chandra Dubey was going from Bagaha to Patna Airport on Sunday night to attend the special session of Parliament. Sudnely the unfortunate incident took place on Mahatma Gandhi Setu. Following the collision, he was rushed to a private hospital in Patna, specifically the Medanta Hospital, for prompt medical treatment.
