New Delhi: In a remarkable achievement, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024, the 7th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Interaction Programme, has garnered an overwhelming 1 crore registrations on the MyGov portal. Scheduled for January 29, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, this distinctive event showcases extensive enthusiasm among students eager to engage with the Prime Minister.
The interactive program, conceptualized by Prime Minister Modi, aims to address the anxieties related to examinations and post-school life. Over the past six years, the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, has successfully organized this unique initiative, fostering dialogue among students, parents, and teachers.
Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 will adopt a town-hall format at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, with nearly 4000 participants engaging with the Prime Minister. Special guests for the main event may include two students and a teacher from each State and UT, along with winners of the Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha competitions.
The online MCQ competition, live on the MyGov portal until January 12, 2024, has witnessed over 90 lakh student registrations, more than 8 lakh teacher registrations, and around 2 lakh parent registrations as of January 5, 2024.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is an integral part of the larger ‘Exam Warriors’ movement initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aiming to create a stress-free environment for youngsters. The movement celebrates the unique individuality of each child, inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s bestselling book ‘Exam Warriors’.
Leading up to the main event, various activities, such as marathon runs, music competitions, meme contests, nukkad nataks, and student-anchor-student-guest discussions, will be organized at the school level from January 12 to January 23, 2024. Additionally, on January 23, 2024, a Painting Competition will be held in 500 districts across the country, commemorating the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti. The topics will include Chandrayan, the sporting success of India, and more, emphasizing how examinations can be a celebration of life.
Around 2050 participants will be selected based on their questions on the MyGov portal, receiving a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit, which includes the Exam Warriors book in Hindi and English, authored by the Prime Minister, along with a certificate.
