Motihari : “Laughter, Joy, and Bravery- GD Goenka Public School organizes Inter House Comedy Poetry Competition”

Motihari: GD Goenka Public School, Motihari, embraced the power of laughter by organizing an exhilarating Inter House “Comedy Poetry” Competition for students in classes III-V on July 6th, 2023. Filled with enthusiasm, the students showcased their poetic talents, delivering humorous poems that resonated with the audience and filled the auditorium with laughter and joy. The event emphasized the therapeutic nature of laughter and its ability to heal both the soul and body, portraying it as the most delightful form of therapy.

The competition witnessed a panel of esteemed judges facing the challenging task of evaluating the participants based on criteria such as poem selection, comic element, recitation, and overall presentation skills. The winners, who brought glory to their respective houses, were celebrated for their outstanding performances:

1st Place – Tagore House

2nd Place – Radhakrishnan House

3rd Place – Teresa House

Principal Vinod Kumar Bhatia commended the event, describing it as a harmonious blend of humor, confidence, and a profound message for the audience. He extended his congratulations to the winners and encouraged them to continue participating in future events, fostering their talents and growth.

In another creative endeavor, GD Goenka School, Motihari, showcased its commitment to holistic learning through the Inter House “Kavita Path” (Veer Ras) Competition for students in classes VI-VII. Held on July 6th, 2023, in the school auditorium, this event aimed to merge history with poetry, providing a platform for students to recite poems that embody courage and bravery.

The participants exhibited exceptional talent, reciting their poems with utmost passion and enthusiasm, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. School Principal Vinod Kumar Bhatia, along with a distinguished panel of judges, praised the participants for their remarkable performances and announced the winners:

2nd Place – Vivekananda Sadan

3rd Place – Tagore House
