MOTIHARI: In a shocking incident, a finance worker was shot by bike-riding criminals in Motihari, Bihar, on Thursday afternoon. The victim, identified as Jitendra Kumar, an employee of Utkarsh Finance, was on a bike tour when he was surrounded by criminals who intended to rob him. When Jitendra protested and refused to hand over any money, the criminals shot him in the leg and fled the scene.
The incident took place near Bada Pakad village under Sugauli police station area of Motihari. Jitendra was immediately rushed to a private nursing home in Motihari, where he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.
According to eyewitnesses, Jitendra was surrounded by the criminals who were on bikes and demanded money from him. When Jitendra informed them that he didn’t have any cash with him, the criminals shot him in the leg and fled. The people in the nearby area heard the sound of the bullet and rushed to the spot to find Jitendra lying on the ground, bleeding profusely.
The Sugauli Police Station has initiated an investigation into the matter and is currently trying to identify and locate the criminals. They have assured that the culprits will soon be arrested and brought to justice.
