NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain have resigned from their posts in the Delhi government. Chief Minister Kejriwal has accepted their resignations.
Sisodia Had Earlier Approached Supreme Court for Bail On Tuesday, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had approached the Supreme Court after being sent to CBI’s five-day remand. However, the court refused to hear his bail plea and directed him to approach the High Court.

Satyendar Jain’s Involvement in Money Laundering Case In June 2022, Satyendar Jain, a powerful minister in the Kejriwal government, was arrested by the ED in a case related to money laundering. Jain was responsible for multiple departments including Energy, PWD, Industries, Urban Development, Flood-Irrigation and Water Resources, apart from the Home and Health Department of Delhi. He was also a close aide of Chief Minister Kejriwal and one of the convenors of Aam Aadmi Party.
