The incident occurred when the young man, driving a car bearing a police sticker, attempted to approach Mamata Banerjee’s house. However, vigilant police officers stationed nearby grew suspicious and swiftly detained him for questioning.

During the inspection, the police discovered a Border Security Force (BSF) identity card and a cache of sharp weapons and firearms in the man’s possession. This raised further alarm, leading to intensified questioning of the arrested individual.
