NEW DELHI: British batsman Harry Brook has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for IPL 2023 for Rs 13.25 crore. Brook scored the most runs in the recent Test series against Pakistan.
There was an intense bidding war between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals for Brook, but it was the Sunrisers who took the cake, as they bought him for Rs 13.25 crore. Harry Brook has had tremendous batting performances in the subcontinent with him receiving Man of the Series Awards in both the T20I and Test Series vs Pakistan in Pakistan

In this series, he added 468 runs at an average of 93.60, which included three centuries and one half-century. He was also the man of the series in this test series.
In the seven-match T20 series played against Pakistan during September-October, he was also the man of the series because of his better performance. He scored 238 runs in seven innings at an average of 79.33, which included a half-century and a best score of 81 runs.
