Giriraj Singh shares Pandit ji’s story for Nitish Kumar’s future as PM, said- “Nitish ji, your plight is still pending”

Giriraj Singh: Nitish Kumar should know PM post for 2024 not vacant

PATNA: Union Minister Giriraj Singh has warned Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that the Prime Minister post for 2024 is not vacant, and his political decline is imminent. Singh made these remarks while reacting to the meeting between Nitish, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, and Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. Singh accused Nitish of pleasing Kharge and trying to position himself for the PM post, despite it being occupied. The Opposition leaders had met to discuss forging a united front against the BJP. Kharge hailed the meeting as “historic” and vowed to work together towards their common goal.

According to the news agency ANI interview, Union Minister said, Everyone wants to become the PM. Nitish Kumar is strong in that. That’s why he is pleasing Malikarjun Kharge and got an appointment with Rahul Gandhi. Nitish Kumar should know that the post of 2024 is not vacant: Union Minister Giriraj Singh on opposition meeting.

Singh’s comments come at a time when the political atmosphere in Bihar is tense, with the assembly elections scheduled for later this year. Nitish Kumar, who heads the Janata Dal (United) party, is expected to face a tough challenge from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) led by Tejashwi Yadav. The meeting between Nitish and the Congress leaders has led to speculation about a potential alliance between the two parties, which could further complicate the electoral landscape in the state.

The BJP, on the other hand, is looking to consolidate its position in Bihar and has been making efforts to woo Nitish Kumar back into the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). However, Nitish has been maintaining a distance from the BJP and has been critical of its policies and leadership.

Giriraj Singh’s comments are significant as he is seen as a key BJP leader and has been known to be a vocal supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Singh’s warning to Nitish Kumar could be seen as a signal to the JD(U) leader to stay away from any potential alliance with the Congress and focus on consolidating his position within the NDA.

The meeting between Nitish Kumar and the Congress leaders has sparked a flurry of reactions from various political parties. While the Congress has welcomed the talks, the BJP has dismissed them as a futile exercise. The RJD has been critical of Nitish’s move and has accused him of being opportunistic.

In the run-up to the assembly elections, the political landscape in Bihar is likely to witness many such developments. With several parties vying for power, the stage is set for a fierce battle for supremacy in the state. Whether Nitish Kumar will be able to hold his ground and emerge victorious remains to be seen.
