PATNA: At least three new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Bihar in the past 24 hours on Thursday. According to the data share by Bihar Health Department, the total active cases of Covid-19 in Bihar have increased to 13.
Corona test is being done daily in the state amid new cases of corona infection. About 43,078 samples have been tested in the last 24 ghettos. The same total active case is 13. Health department of Bihar is in alert mode.

Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit and alerted IGIMS and asked to be ready for genomic lab and other covid ward management. Dr. Manish Mandal MS told that IGIMS is fully prepared to fight Covid. 15 beds have been reserved for this since Wednesday itself. The gene sequencing lab is already in alert mode. Has started the process of bringing essential things and on reaching Bihar of Kovid, necessary kit has also been arranged for gene sequencing to detect the prevalent variants in Bihar. Dr. Mandal said that according to the guidelines given by the government, we are fully prepared to save the people of Bihar from ‘Covid Return’.
He was further said that our immunity is doubled in Bihar. That is, due to herd infection, our own immunity and other vaccines that all the people of Bihar have taken in the last two years will help in fighting the disease. Dr. Mandal said that the people of Bihar should not worry, but from now on masks and social distancing should be compulsorily taken care of as we have done before.
