PATNA: The political speculation that has been going on for a long time in Bihar has come to end. According to media reports, the alliance between Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal United has broken in the state. It is reported that this decision has been taken in a meeting held at the residence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal have called separate meetings of their MLAs. The meetings are being held in Patna. Hindustani Awam Morcha and Congress have also called a meeting of their MLAs.
Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) is also a constituent party of NDA. According to media reports, Nitish Kumar and Congress President Sonia Gandhi had a talk on the phone. Nitish Kumar has called a meeting of MLAs only after this conversation.
It is being said that the talks between RJD and Nitish Kumar were already going on. Both are not attacking each other and there is tolerance towards each other in public statements. In the Iftar party, Nitish Kumar went to Tejashwi’s residence and later Tejashwi was also seen with Nitish Kumar at the Chief Minister’s residence.
RJD’s state spokesperson Iqbal Aham Shami told BBC Hindi that RJD is going to come to the government in Bihar. He said that the fight against BJP will have to be fought together.
160 MLAs will meet the Governor
RJD leader and Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav will meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence. It is reported that a total of 160 MLAs will meet Governor Fagu Chauhan at around 1 pm on Tuesday.
Nitish Kumar will also meet the Governor at 4 pm
