PATNA: On Sunday morning, a pornographic movie suddenly started playing on a TV screen installed at Patna Junction railway station, the capital of Bihar. The clip continued to play for three minutes before the company operating the TV screen was called upon by the Railways to shut it down. The incident led to the cancellation of the concerned agency’s tender by the Railways.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the Government Railway Police (GRP) were immediately informed about the incident. RPF has registered an FIR, and investigations are underway. RPF has also taken possession of the equipment used to play advertisements or information through TV screens at the station.
