PATNA: Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar slipped and fell down while walking towards the venue of a function in Patna on Thursday, but was unhurt.
The incident took place during a function organized by the state to pay tribute to freedom fighter Mungeri Lal on his death anniversary. Governor Arlekar was making his way towards the venue when he slipped and fell. However, he was quickly assisted by security personnel and officers who were present at the spot.
According to the report, A senior official who witnessed the incident stated, “When the governor slipped and fell, he was immediately picked up by security personnel and officers present there. He was unhurt and immediately got up, with their assistance.”
After the fall, Governor Arlekar composed himself and walked towards the venue where other distinguished guests, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his cabinet colleagues, had gathered. The event continued as planned, with attendees paying their respects to the late freedom fighter.
