Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking turn of events, renowned film and TV serial actor Bhupinder Singh and three accomplices have been apprehended for their alleged involvement in a fatal shooting incident in Kuakheda village, Badhapur area, resulting in the death of a neighbor and injuries to two others. The incident unfolded on Sunday when an altercation erupted between the actor and his neighbor Gurdeep, a farmer, over the felling of a tree on Gurdeep’s farm, according to ASP Dharam Singh Marchal.

Following the incident, Moradabad DIG Muniraj personally visited the injured individuals. The Singh family has leveled accusations of police negligence, filing a complaint with the DIG. They assert that despite bringing the issue to the police’s attention on November 19, no action was taken. At present, two individuals responsible for the gunfire have been apprehended by the police.”
What led to the firing?
According to the report, As tensions escalated, Bhupinder Singh reportedly brandished his licensed revolver, firing at Gurdeep and his sons, Govind and Amrik. Tragically, Govind (23) lost his life on the spot, while Gurdeep and Amrik sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the district hospital, said Marchal. The police acted swiftly, apprehending Bhupinder Singh and his associates on Monday.
The victims had reportedly lodged a complaint on November 19, informing the police about Dharam Singh’s attempts to cut trees on his farm. However, the police allegedly failed to take any action, as stated by the victims in their complaint. In response to the apparent negligence, Superintendent of Police suspended Badhapur SHO Sumit Rathi, Inspector Yasin, and Constable Krishna Kumar. An inquiry has been initiated, with ASP Dharam Singh Marchal leading the investigation due to Circle Officer Sangram Singh’s perceived laxity in handling the case.
