LUCKNOW: On Sunday, Bhojpuri film actress Akanksha Dubey was found dead in a hotel in Sarnath, Varanasi. According to sources, the actress allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in the hotel. Police are investigating the matter and the reason behind her suicide is not yet known.
Akanksha Dubey was residing in Parsipur in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. She had acted in successful Bhojpuri films like ‘Veeron Ke Veer’ and ‘Kasam Badna Wale Ki 2’. She was in Varanasi for shooting and her death has left the Bhojpuri film industry in shock.
The actress had shared a video on her Instagram account on Saturday night before her death. Her tick-tock videos and acting skills were popular among her fans. She started her film career in Mumbai and despite her parents’ wish to make her an IAS officer, she followed her passion for dance and acting.
