Patna: Arif Mohammad Khan is set to be sworn in as the Governor of Bihar today at the Raj Bhavan in Patna, officials have confirmed. The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled to take place around 11 a.m.
Khan, who previously served as the Governor of Kerala, was recently transferred to Bihar in a reshuffle of gubernatorial appointments. Meanwhile, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, the outgoing Governor of Bihar, has been appointed as the Governor of Kerala.

Upon his arrival in Patna on Monday, Khan addressed reporters and expressed his respect for Bihar’s rich history and cultural legacy. “I know the glorious history of Bihar. It has an impact on me. I will try to discharge my duties in accordance with the heritage and glorious tradition of the state,” he said.
The ceremony is expected to be attended by prominent state officials and dignitaries. Khan’s appointment comes at a crucial time, and his tenure will be closely watched as he navigates the responsibilities of his new role in the politically vibrant state of Bihar.
