Take quick action on getting information about the controversy through objectionable posts
PATNA: Through the meeting, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed the law and order situation with senior police and administrative officers in view of festivals like Navratri, Durga Puja, Dussehra, Barafat, Deepawali etc.
The Chief Minister said that it is time for festivals session. A large number of women, children, senior citizens will participate in the god events. In view festivals, along with taking special vigilance, all necessary safety measures should be ensured. Police patrolling should be increased.
On Twitter, CM said that the officers have been instructed that the police should be fully alert. If anyone tries to mess up then take strict action. Keep a close watch on anti-social elements spreading rumors and hatred and take prompt action against them?
Continue to carry out intensive patrolling and investigation operations. Keep an look on those creating communal tension and controversy through objectionable posts on social media. Keep monitoring from cyber crime cell. Take quick action on getting information about the incident. Landline phones remained functional in police stations, CM added.
